Japan has donated 800.000 EUR to Montenegro for medical equipment supply

MVPAmbassador of Montenegro in the Republic of Serbia Tarzan Milosevic and Ambassador of Japan in Montenegro Junichi Maruyama, exchanged today notes of Japanese donation of 800.000 EUR, with aim to improve country’s health system against infectious diseases, including COVID 19, through supply of medical equipment. 

This donation will provide general hospitals in municipalities in northern region with transmittable ultrasonic scanners, central monitors, as well as with other medical equipment, in order to improve Montenegrin health system in fight against infectious diseases. 

Bearing in mind that COVID 19 has become global topic, it is of great importance for global community to put joint efforts and to cooperate closely in managing this challenge. This donation represents another confirmation of friendly relations between Montenegro and Japan.
